Police authorities created various teams, named Cheetah, Mahila Cheetah, and other CPU teams to conduct regular patrolling checks at peak hours, specifically opening and closing of institutions, like schools, colleges, coaching centres, etc. This is a strategic move by the police, as there are high chances of conflicts among youngsters.
Women’s helpdesk is composed of one officer in charge and four constables, named as the ‘Team Gaura’. The training is divided into levels, like level I and level II, based on the intensity of the course.
