Delhi has been observed as the most unsafe city for women in the country of India. While the police force works consistently to protect people and keep them safe, people must know how to protect themselves as it takes the police force a little bit of time too to reach the place of the incident.
Self-defence training is vital as it teaches people the fundamental techniques of defence, and less reaction times so that they can save themselves in potentially harmful situations. These skills don’t simply enable individuals to protect themselves physically but also help make them resilient and more aware of their surroundings.
There are various benefits of the Self-Defence Technique Training Camp. some of the major benefits of the camp are:
Personal safety: Participants gain practical skills to protect themselves in emergency or dangerous situations.
Situational awareness: The training helps the participants recognise and respond to potentially harmful situations.
Physical and mental fitness: The camp enhances people’s physical and mental fitness and strengthens them.
Resources: Participants receive educational materials and tips on self-defence techniques and safety.

The Self-Defence Technique Training Camp is open to everyone in Delhi no matter their backgrounds. The training is carried out in different sessions explained in detail below:
Basic Self-Defence Techniques: Initially, the camp begins with fundamental techniques used in defending oneself to lay the foundation such as breaking free from an attacker’s grip, using the attacker’s move against them, or blocking strikes of attackers. Training is started with this so that people with no prior training can have an effective start from scratch.
Open Senses: The training makes participants realise the importance of being aware no matter the situation and location and then teaches them to be able to do so. This includes noticing and making sense of people’s body language like gestures, identifying escape routes of places, and being attentive and vigilant. Awareness is a crucial aspect of self-defence and helps in avoiding danger.
Being Mentally Prepared: Self-defence is more about one’s mental strength than one’s physical strength. The camp helps build one’s confidence and resilience by teaching them to stay calm under pressure, to be able to make quick decisions and to be in control in such anxiety-provoking situations because, after all, the mind is the main controller.
Legal Awareness: The training also educates people and teaches them about their legal rights regarding self-defence. The participants must know their legal rights and boundaries while defending themselves.
Physical Fitness: Exercise isn’t complete without both physical and mental stimulation. Participants are made to engage in regular physical exercises to build a strong inner physique.
