How Do I Book a Passport Appointment Online?
After completing the application, you can schedule an appointment through your Passport Seva account. The appointment that you booked gets associated with the application reference numbers at the step of Pay and Schedule Appointment. Follow these steps:

How Can I Check Passport Appointment Slot Availability?
The Check Appointment Availability tool offered on the site allows you to check for availability slots before making payment. This means you can find out if there are any available appointment slots for Passport Seva at your location without worrying about making payment.
- Open the Check Appointment Availability page on the Passport Seva portal.
- Select your passport office and the Passport Seva Kendra you want.
- Available dates show up on the appointment availability screen; dates with open slots appear highlighted.
What if no slots are showing at my PSK?
New shift openings tend to happen in small sets frequently during the early part of the day so when they come up you are likely to see them very often during the session. In case you don't see the new openings at your already close centre the best bet is to reach out to nearby centres.
How Do I Reschedule My Passport Appointment?
In order to reschedule your appointment, you should go to the application that you have submitted and select the option saying Reschedule Appointment. There is no charge for you to do that. You will be able to change your booking a maximum of twice during the first twelve months following the date you made your first appointment. If you have already used up your chances, you will no longer be able to use this application to make changes to your appointment online. To reschedule:
- Log in to the Passport Seva portal and open View Saved/Submitted Applications.
- Select your application and click Pay and Schedule Appointment.
- Choose Reschedule Appointment.
- Pick a new date and slot; you can also select a different PSK or POPSK.
- Confirm to get your updated appointment receipt.
Why Should I Pick the New Date Carefully?
Because of the fact that there are no more than two changes in accordance with the policy, you have to choose a date and prepare all necessary documents for that day.
Can I Cancel a Passport Appointment?
Yes. Cancellations happen in the same way as rescheduling and they count as one of the two changes that anyone can have per year.
