Quick Answer: Check your Nadakacheri application status on the AJSK status page at ajsk.karnataka.gov.in with your RD acknowledgement number. Once the Deputy Tahsildar approves the file, download the digitally approved certificate from the Nadakacheri certificate page, the SMS link or DigiLocker. The same route covers caste, income and domicile certificates in Karnataka.
Lost your RD slip? You can still track the file with the mobile number you applied with, using a one-time password (OTP). Nadakacheri is the Karnataka Revenue Department's Atalji Janasnehi Kendra (AJSK) system, and its tracker shows every officer who has handled your file.

How do you check your Nadakacheri application status with the RD number?
A Nadakacheri status check takes under a minute on the official AJSK tracker: choose the acknowledgement option, type your RD number and solve a captcha.
- Open the Nadakacheri application status page and switch the page to English at the top right if you need to.
- Select Acknowledgement No.
- Type your RD number, which starts with two letters and runs to 15 characters.
- Enter the captcha and click Check Status.
- Read the status line, then the Application Status History table under your name and address.
You can also reach the tracker from Important Links → Application Status on the Nadakacheri portal home page.
Can you check Nadakacheri status by mobile number or Aadhaar?
You can check Nadakacheri application status by mobile number, but not by Aadhaar. The tracker offers only two options: the acknowledgement number or the mobile number used when applying.
Pick Mobile No, enter the 10-digit number and verify the OTP. Choose your service, such as Income Certificate or Domicile Certificate, and click Check Status. Click an acknowledgement number in the list to open its full status.
Aadhaar works only on the certificate download page, after Aadhaar e-KYC. Lost both the RD number and the mobile number? The AJSK helpdesk in the portal's FAQ can trace the file from your name, taluk, hobli and service.
What does each Nadakacheri status mean?
Each row in the status history shows one officer's step: their designation, the date the file reached them and the date they acted. Rows are marked Pending or Completed.
| What you see | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Pending row | The file is waiting with that officer | Wait; stay reachable if it's the field-verification officer |
| Completed row, with an opinion | That officer (often the Village Accountant or Revenue Inspector) has finished | Nothing; the Deputy Tahsildar decides last |
| Rejection reason in the remarks | The application was turned down | Fix the issue and reapply, or appeal to the Assistant Commissioner |
| "Resend the Certificate/Endorsement Download link via SMS" | Your certificate, or the office's endorsement (written order), is ready | Click it to get the download link by SMS |
| "No application or certificate found" | The number matches no file | Re-check the RD number or search by mobile |
A rejected application isn't refunded, so you pay the service charge again when you reapply.
How do you download your certificate once it is approved?
For a Nadakacheri certificate download, use the certificate page for a caste certificate. For any certificate, you can also use the SMS link or DigiLocker.
- Open the Nadakacheri certificate download page, headed "Search and Download Caste Certificates".
- Search by Certificate Number (enter your RD number), Aadhar Number (e-KYC required), Ration Card Number or Mobile Number (OTP).
- Enter the security code and click Search.
- Tick your certificate and click Download Selected, or Preview it first.
Applied online yourself? Log in to the Nadakacheri online application with your mobile number and use the Print tab. If you use DigiLocker, approved certificates reach it automatically. A later reprint carries a fee.
Get it done for you - We fill the Nadakacheri form for your caste, income or domicile certificate, so there's no agent near you to find. - We check your documents and track the RD number until the Deputy Tahsildar decides. - We share the signed certificate as soon as it's issued.
Approved but not downloading: what should you do?
Most failed downloads are a browser problem, not a portal one. Try these before visiting an office.
- Allow pop-ups. The certificate opens in a pop-up, and a blocker stops it silently.
- Switch the search. Aadhaar search needs e-KYC, so try the certificate or ration card number.
- Resend the SMS link from your status page.
- Check DigiLocker, where approved certificates arrive on their own.
- Escalate a stuck file. Past the Sakala deadline, visit your hobli Nadakacheri, then appeal to the Assistant Commissioner.
