  • The applicant should be a member of the Scheduled Tribe (ST) community and must possess a Tribal Certificate issued by the competent authority.

  • The applicant has to be a permanent resident of Mizoram and must have a valid Permanent Residential Certificate when appearing for the application process.

  • The applicant should be pursuing studies from Class XI up to a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in a recognised educational institution.

  • Applicant's parent/guardian's earnings from all sources will not exceed Rs. 2,50,000/- per annum as a combined total.

  • The applicant must be pursuing a recognised professional, technical, vocational, non-professional, non-technical, correspondence, distance-learning or continuing education program in accordance with the requirements of the scholarship.

  • The applicant should have an active Aadhaar number and a functional bank account involved with the scholarship application so that he/she can get financial assistance by Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

What Is The Application Process Of The Post-Matric Scholarship?

To ensure the application is successful, students are encouraged to finalise the process, attach all required documents and submit it on time.

Step 1: Register on the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) if you are a new applicant. Existing users can log in by using their Application ID and Password.

Step 2: Fill out the One-Time Registration (OTR).

Step 3: Sign in to your NSP Dashboard with registered credentials.

Step 4: Students must submit an online application once logged in, including all their personal details, academic details, bank account details, and other required particulars.
