What Is The ICRO Amrit Internship Program 2024?

Indian Potash Limited and the National Productivity Council jointly established the IPL Rural Outreach Centre (ICRO). The ICRO full form is IPL Rural Outreach Centre. This initiative is designed as a government-supported internship programme for youth, especially in rural India, to strengthen agricultural awareness and productivity.

Under this programme, each intern is expected to interact with at least 100 farmers during the internship period. Over the course of three months, interns gain hands-on experience, learn about the challenges of ground-level farming, and understand the practical application of agricultural policies and schemes. The programme is also aligned with upcoming opportunities like IPL Internship 2025, making it a strong foundation for agriculture-focused careers.

The Amrit e-learning modules provide a structured overview of India’s agricultural ecosystem, covering farm productivity, sustainability, innovative technologies, and both central and state government schemes. These modules are simple, accessible, and designed to enhance the intern’s existing knowledge.
