The Alpasankhyak Kalyan Chhatravas is a govt scheme that provides financial assistance to children studying between the classes of 11th and 12th and who come from marginalised communities. Under the Sarkari Yojana, the Bihar govt deposits Rs, 1000 per month to youngsters so that they can use that money to buy whatever they need. Along with the monetary support, 9 kg of rice and 6 kg of wheat are also given to students every month so that they consume nutritious food.
The Awsar Badhe Aage Badhe is a state government scheme that aims to help youngsters grow and build their personal and professional lives. The Yojana was designed to build and improve infrastructure concerning educational institutions offering various disciplines in every district of Bihar so that the youth can have as many options as possible.
The Bihar Anganwadi Beneficiary Scheme is a scheme that aims to deliver essential services to children and expecting and new mothers so that they stay healthy in such sensitive times of their lives. The scheme works through Anganwadi centres and aims to reduce mortality rates and malnutrition.
The state govt of Bihar launched the Bihar Diesel Grant Scheme to provide subsidies on diesel to farmers of the state. The scheme provides a subsidy of Rs. 750 per acre per irrigation for Kharif crops at the rate of Rs. 75 per litre. To avail the benefits of the subsidy scheme, the farmers should have a land of at least 8 acres. This Sarkari scheme is an exceptional initiative aimed at reducing the financial burden of farmers.
The Bihar Mukhyamantri Vridhajan Pension Yojana (MVPY) is a pension scheme that provides pensions to senior citizens above the age of 60 years residing in the state. Under the scheme, Rs. 400 is given to senior citizens between the ages of 60-79 years and Rs. 500 to senior citizens above 80 years per month. The pension is deposited directly into the bank accounts of beneficiaries and helps them in leading a healthy independent life.
The Patrakar Pension Samman Yojana is a govt pension scheme that provides monthly financial aid to the journalists of the state who are now retired. According to the scheme, retired journalists above the age of 60 years are entitled to receive Rs. 6000 per month for at least the next 20 years. The scheme recognises the work of journalists and provides them with financial security as a token of appreciation for their work.
The Bihar Rajya Fasal Sahayata Yojana is an agriculture scheme that aims to compensate the farmers who have suffered financial loss of crops. As per the Yojana, if a farmer’s crop is destroyed up to 20% then they are entitled to receive Rs. 7500 as compensation and if the damage is more than 20% then they are entitled to receive R. 10,000.
The state govt launched the Bihar Saur Kranti Sinchai Yojana to promote and encourage farmers to use sustainable farming measures. As a start, the scheme provides a subsidy of 75% to the farmers so that they can purchase solar pumps for irrigation. Farmers must’ve at least an acre of land to a maximum of 5 acres to avail the benefits of the subsidy scheme.
The Bihar Student Credit Card Scheme is a Sarkari Scheme designed to provide monetary support to the students of the state so that they can pursue higher education and build their careers in their preferred fields like B.Sc., B.A, B.Tech, or MBBS. Under the scheme, students can apply for a loan of up to Rs. 4 lakh with minimal rates of interest and can start repaying after they complete their education and secure jobs.
The Ghar Tak Pakki Gali-Naliyan is an exceptional govt initiative that aims to construct proper roads and drainage facilities across the whole state. The scheme represents the state’s commitment to improving the infrastructural facilities to make it an ideal state for the people.
