The govt scheme aims to support women in critical moments of their lives and their children’s lives by enabling them to access various necessary services like quality healthcare, monetary aid, enriching food, etc.
The Sarkari Yojana also aims to spread awareness among people about pregnancy and its phases and what women go through for their children. It also organises government programs that shed light on various topics like the need for healthy food, the health of mothers and babies, and so on.

When it comes to children, the most sensitive phase of their and their mothers' lives is during pregnancy and post-pregnancy wherein both of them need extra care and attention. The mother must eat enriching food so that it reaches their children so that both of them can have healthy growth without developing any vulnerabilities to diseases. However, women in India are still facing many issues during and post their pregnancy which leads to mothers’ untimely deaths, malnutrition, etc.
Hence, the state government of Karnataka introduced the Thayi Bhagya Scheme to help pregnant and lactating women in such an important period of their lives. The govt scheme lends its support to numerous methods such as access to quality healthcare, proper and rich food, cash benefits, maternal leaves, etc. The Sarkari Yojana aims to empower women so that they can take care of their children efficiently and without any worries.
