Only one police official can apply to reap the benefits of this scheme once. Family members of the police officials are prohibited from applying separately.
If it's a joint application wherein multiple people are applying together, only an immediate family member, like the spouse, parents, or children of the police official, can apply as a joint member in the application.
An applicant will be entitled to one flat only if selected through a random lottery system.
Please note that the corporation has the complete authority to relax the eligibility conditions without giving any reason.
The application process to avail the benefits of the state govt scheme can be done following an offline process. The whole West Bengal Pratyasha Scheme application process is broken down into steps for one’s clarity:
Step 1: Please take a printout of the application from the official website of West Bengal and Kolkata Police.
Step 2: Applicants are required to get a Demand Draft, Pay Order, or a Banker’s Cheque drawn in favour of the ‘Managing Director, West Bengal Police Housing & Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited’ on any bank payable at Kolkata.
Step 3: Please fill in all the details in the application form carefully and accurately.
Step 4: Attach the scanned and self-attested copies of all the required documents.
Step 5: Recheck the filled information in the form and the order of the documents attached, and then submit it at the office of the Managing Director, West Bengal Police Housing & Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited, Araksha Bhawan, 3rd floor, Block DJ, Sector II, Salt Lake City, Kolkata, 700091. Applicants are allowed to send their applications by post as well to the same address.
Individuals who meet the eligibility criteria for the Training in Coir Scheme have to attach some supporting documents. The list of documents is as follows:
PAN card of the applicant and the joint applicants, if any
Salary certificate of the applicant by the DDO.
Self-attested passport-sized photographs
Cancelled cheque
Bank passbook
Demand Draft, a Pay order, or a Banker’s cheque as per the category dwelling unit.
