PG Indira Gandhi Scholarship for Single Girl Child (SGC)

The Post Graduate Indira Gandhi Scholarship For Single Girl Child was introduced by the University Grants Commission and is meant to enhance the participation of single girl children in postgraduate education. This scholarship scheme provides financial assistance to stimulate parents towards small family norms and gender equity. Under this scholarship, chosen individuals obtain the amount of 36,200 rupees per year, for the entire duration of the PG course. Each year, 3,000 new scholarships are being offered in this program.
