Several worker registration requirements must be met before applying for housing under the Sarkari scheme.

  • The applicant must be a permanent resident of M.P and belong to the construction worker category recognised under labour welfare laws.

  • The applicant shall be involved in building construction or other construction-related projects.

  • Applicant must be 18 - 60 years at the time of their enrolment with the Welfare Board.

  • The worker should have been engaged in construction activities for at least 90 days in the last 12 months.

  • Applicant shall renew their worker registration yearly to allow such applicant to continue availing benefits under labour welfare schemes.

Housing Criteria

In addition to eligibility requirements for registration, applicants must also meet housing eligibility requirements.

  • The applicant should not be the existing beneficiary of any scheme like Indira Awas Yojana/CM Antyodaya Awas Yojana for a housing grant.

  • The applicant's family should have no more than 3 hectares of agricultural land.

  • The family's annual income from all sources should not exceed ₹3 lakh per annum under the Labour Housing Scheme for Rural India.

  • The applicant will have to ensure that he has enough land to build the proposed house, and/or can be eligible for government land.

  • The applicant should be eligible to obtain a landholder certificate in the village population.

  • The applicant should agree to obtain a bank loan for constructing a house with a 225 sq. ft. plinth area in the prescribed layout and provide their own contribution in the form of labour/material/inclusion.

What Is The Application Process Of Chief Minister’s Construction Workers Housing Scheme?

BOCW Board Rural Scheme Apply Offline

Step 1: The interested applicant needs to visit the office of the Chief Executive of District Panchayat during office hours and obtain the application form from the office.

Step 2: All of the necessary information on the application form must be filled in carefully by the applicant, including personal details, worker registration, income details and housing-related information.

Step 3: The applicant shall attach all the documents, passport-size photographs and worker registration certificates.

Step 4: Application form and supporting documents should be submitted to the relevant authority within the specified period.

Step 5: Keep the acknowledgement receipt to check the application status later.

Step 6: The concerned authorities verify the worker registration details and housing eligibility conditions before approving assistance.

Step 1: Visit the official Shram Seva Portal (MPBOCWWB) of Madhya Pradesh.

Step 2: Click on the Registration of Construction Workers and register yourself.

Step 3: Enter your Composite Member ID and Samagra Family ID, then click Get Details. Your family or beneficiary details will be displayed on the screen

Step 4: Complete the online application with correct Personal, Employment and Housing Data.

Step 5: Provide scanned copies of all necessary documents in the proper format.
