Jan Andolan Portal: Poshan Maah 2024 Impact & App Download

Jan Andolan Portal is a government initiative launched by the Indian government to involve citizens in governance and development schemes. In addition to creating awareness and access to government services, the portal enables citizens to become active participants in welfare schemes by becoming active participants. The Jan Andolan was launched as part of the Digital India initiative.

What Is Jan Andolan?

Jan Andolan is a program, translated as "People's Movement,” which is an outreach on a huge scale to different parts of the country, focusing generally on getting the public involved in all their social and development activities. This government program does campaigns to create awareness for the citizens regarding government schemes, health, nutrition, and other vital social issues.

It provides an opportunity to invite comments from citizens over government services.
This would mean that authority can know what needs to be changed.

Poshan Abhiyaan

Poshan Abhiyaan, National Nutrition Mission was launched by the Government on 8th March 2018. is a highly important initiative that will tackle malnutrition all over India. It looks to bring down drastically the prevalence of malnutrition through an integrated initiative spread across awareness generation, community mobilization, and capacity building.

What Is Poshan Maah 2024?

'Poshan Maah 2024' falls under the Poshan Abhiyaan which is a national celebration towards nutrition awareness and work that builds a healthier India. It is in the 7th phase this year, wherein Poshan Maah takes up very critical themes like anaemia prevention, growth monitoring, effective service delivery by good governance and technology, "Poshan Bhi Padhai Bhi," and supplementary nutrition.

Poshan Maah 2024 Impact:

More than 10.27 crores of activities are done under the program, country-wide.
Maharashtra topped with 1.93 crore activities, followed by Bihar with 1.27 crore activities.
1.95 crores activities were on anaemia.
1.73 crore of activities were done under growth monitoring.
