Indian railways are one of the most popular modes of transportation. They are not only safe and comfortable but also ideal for long-distance journeys. The Indian Railways works through the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), which helps passengers with various functions like reservations, lounge facilities, food, etc.
One of the key components of accessing and enjoying the Indian railways is prior reservations. Without reservations, no one can rightly access the services provided by the railways. However, recently the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation has announced a major change in the reservation policy of trains. This new update would impact the lives of passengers to a greater extent.
