• Cumulative Grant:₹2.5 lakh per couple, paid in two instalments.

• Disbursement basis: ₹1.5 lakh is credited to the couple's joint account upon approval.

• Term Deposit: ₹1 lakh is placed in a fixed deposit for three years with interest.

• Program Administration: ₹25,000 is given to district officers for publicising the scheme and distributing incentives.

Application Procedure

Eligible couples can apply for the Dr. Ambedkar Scheme by following the steps laid down below in step-wise format to avoid any confusion.

Step 1: Gather Necessary Documents: Submit identity proof, marriage registration certificate, caste certificate, income proof, and any other required documents.

Step 2: Submit Application: Complete the application and submit it to the district magistrate or social welfare office. Alternatively, an MP or MLA can forward the application.

Step 3: Verification: The district office will verify the application and forward it to the Dr Ambedkar Foundation.

Step 4: Incentive Disbursement: ₹1.5 lakh will be deposited into the couple's joint account, and ₹1 lakh will be placed in a fixed deposit for three years.
