The government has set a goal to make India completely developed by the year 2047, 100 years after independence. This project is called ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’. The term ‘Viksit Bharat’ means ‘Developed India’. The four pillars of Viksit Bharat are Yuva (youth), Garib (poor), Mahila (women), and Kisan (farmers).
If you have an innovative idea, then the government has started a platform called Viksit Bharat @2047, where you can submit all your ideas. It is a chance to bring all the people around India together to brainstorm innovative ideas and submit them.
It is also a chance to win a cash prize if your idea is in the top three. The government has promised Rs 5 lakh for the best idea, Rs 3 lakh for the 2nd best idea, and Rs 2 lakh for the 3rd best idea.

The Viksit Bharat 2047 is a government mission launched by the Indian government to holistically focus on developing India significantly by the year 2047. The scheme focuses on various aspects crucial for developing the nation, such as promoting entrepreneurship and providing necessary support to small businesses and MSMEs, focusing on agricultural growth, investing in infrastructure development, and increasing economic growth through various measures.
Viksit Bharat 2047 is a mission that the government of India launched. The sole aim of the mission, as the name suggests, is to develop India by the year 2047, which is special in itself considering the fact that the nation gained independence back in the year 1947. The government's mission focuses on the holistic and sustainable development of all sectors, like agriculture, MSMEs, and others, with the active involvement and help of the youth of the nation. The aim is to not only make the nation Viksit (developed) but Aatmanirbhar (self-reliant) too.
There are several objectives of the government mission that make it unique. Some of the key objectives of the mission are as follows:
The mission aims to reduce and eventually eliminate poverty from its roots through various measures like food security schemes, employment schemes, etc.
Viksit Bharat has put special focus on developing the farmers of the nation so that they can excel in their professions without any problems that they as of present.
The government's mission supports women's equality as well and has taken several measures in the same direction, like reservation of 33% in the Lok Sabha & state assemblies, criminalisation of triple talaq, special schemes only for women, and others.
The scheme also has an exclusive focus on infrastructure development, equalising access to quality education, etc.

Step 1: Visit the MyGov portal.
Step 2: Click on the ‘Share Your Ideas for Viksit Bharat’ button.
Step 3: Enter your name and mobile number or email ID, and click the ‘Log In with OTP’ button.
Step 4: Enter the OTP received on your mobile number or email and click ‘Submit’.
Step 5: Enter the required details and click on the ‘Confirm and Proceed’ button.
Step 6: Choose one or more themes to share your idea. After entering your ideas and suggestions, click ‘Submit’.
As Viksit Bharat aims to move towards a completely developed nation, any citizen who has ideas and suggestions regarding the same can submit their ideas on the portal.
The Finance Minister, Nirmala Sitaraman, stated in her Interim Budget 2024 speech that a provision of Rs. 75,000 crores as a 50-year interest-free loan is proposed to the state government. This is to support the milestones set by the government while also helping MSMEs grow and be a part of the Viksit Bharat roadmap.
The PM has also suggested running special campaigns in every university and college in India to educate the youth on Viksit Bharat. Moreover, the ‘Ideas Portal’ platform launched by the government lets students submit their suggestions on five different themes.
