The world is a fast moving place with new skills coming into place. The advancement of technology and innovation has also highlighted the need for reforming, restructuring and upgrading the working systems and skills.
In light of this, it became imperative to introduce training and development sessions for the state authorities, to make them up to date with the working process. To address this, NITI Ayog and Karmayogi Bharat introduced SAMARTH curated programmes.
NITI Ayog has launched 6 SAMARTH Curated Programmes in collaboration with Karmayogi Bharat for state government officials and authorities. This is aimed at enhancing their skills, increasing their efficiency and effectiveness.
These programs have been launched on the iGOT Karmayogi platform. Governance is a constantly evolving process. To maintain a competitive environment, these courses have been initiated to upgrade the skills and capabilities of government officials.
The 6 SAMARTH programmes are as follows:

SAMARTH Rajya
SAMARTH Rajya Sachiv
SAMARTH Policy
SAMARTH Procurement
SAMARTH is a higher educational platform developed for facilitation of provision of quality education to students pursuing their Higher Education. It was launched in 2020 in furtherance of the National Education Mission.
The SAMARTH courses have been curated for state government officials to help them upgrade their skills and smoothen the process of governance.
iGOT Karmayogi is a digital platform created in furtherance of Mission karmayogi. It aims to facilitate the dissemination of information about different policy and administrative matters for government officials.
It aims to provide information ‘anywhere, anytime and on any device’ to officials. It facilitates learning, hosts discussions and conducts assessments as well.

There are 14 courses that seek to develop advanced skills to steer governance.
SAMARTH Rajya Sachiv
Curated for senior authorities and state secretaries.
To empower learning officials with skills aimed at bringing about transformative change and policy formulation.
There are 14 courses that seek to embed expertise to deal with complex policy circumstances.
SAMARTH Policy
There are 5 courses.
These courses deal with the formulation, writing, abiding, analysis of data and evaluation of policies.
SAMARTH Procurement
Caters to officials engaged in procurement.
There are 9 courses that educate the officials about training in procurement guidelines, strategies, and considerations.
The registration or application for these programmes is simple.

Click on the ‘Register’ button on top of the page.
Fill in your details and keep your ID proof, department ID and address proof handy.
Upload the relevant documents.
Click on ‘Submit’.
Once registered, you can use the ‘Login’ option to access your profile and go through the courses.
Smooth and efficient governance can only take place if the officials engaged in such a process are up to date with skills and knowledge of policies. Such facilitation is being provided by the courses under these programmes.
