Priority will be given to SC concentrated areas of at least 15% without any hostel facilities for SC students.
State governments will prioritise top-performing government schools that don’t have any hostel facilities.
Middle and higher secondary levels of education will be focused on building hostels.
Boundary walls, two-room quarters for wardens, and one-room quarters for guards are in the hostel construction plan.
Girls' hostels must be located in areas with low female SC literacy.
Girls' hostels should be constructed near the institutions.
