Individuals must comply with all the eligibility criteria to apply for the state government scheme. The eligibility criteria of the Training Programme are as follows:
Applicants should be permanent residents of Rajasthan.
Applicants applying for this scheme should identify themselves as transgender.
Applicants should be between the ages of 21 and 50 years.
The annual income of the applicant should not be more than Rs 8 lakh.
Applicants are required to apply for and get approved for a loan from a nationalised or cooperative bank.
Please note that a transgender person can only avail themselves of the benefits of this scheme once.
The application process for this state govt scheme can be done following an offline process. The process is broken down into steps for one’s clarity:
Step 1: Please visit the office of the Social Justice and Empowerment Department of the state.
Step 2: Request the officials for an application form for the scheme and start filling in the required details carefully and accurately.
Step 3: Attach the scanned self-attested photocopies of all the required documents.
Step 4: Recheck the filled details in the form, check the order of the attached documents, and then submit it all to the officials in the office. Please ensure to collect a receipt or acknowledgement for reference purposes and wait for approval.
A transgender person needs to apply for and successfully secure a loan from a nationalised or cooperative bank, and only then will the District Magistrate credit the amount of the grant directly into the loan accounts of the transgender person. The loan is only given for business-related purposes.
