What Is the Sthree Suraksha Programme?

Sthree Suraksha Programme is a Government Initiative of Kerala to provide a monthly pension to Women and Transgender Women without the scope of any other sources of Pension.

Sthree Surakash applies to all eligible beneficiaries who are aged between 35 years and 60 years and have been granted a Government pension of ₹1000. Therefore, this will assist Eligible Beneficiaries to access their basic living needs, as well as improve their financial Security. Although the announcement for this scheme was made in November 2022, the commencement of its implementation was originally scheduled for 2023.
