Eligibility Criteria

The YSR Kapu Nestham scheme is to provide specific financial aid to the Kapu community women so that, their living conditions are enhanced. The target women are in the age group of 45 to 60 years and it is ensured that such women are supported to become economically independent women.

• Residency: The applicant must be a resident of the state of Andhra Pradesh.

• Age: Women should be of age between 45 years to 60 years of age.

• Community: What caste group does she belong to, that is, Kapu, Balija, Telaga, or Ontari.

• Family Income: Family income should not be more than INR 10,000 in rural areas and INR 12,000 in urban places.

• Land Holding: The percentage of total land ownership should be below the limit as specified (e.g., not more than 3 acres of wetland or 10 acres of dry land).

• Electricity Consumption: Consumption of electricity should not exceed three hundred units in a month.

Exclusions: Families having any four-wheeler or with government employees or pensioners are not included.
