2. Logistic Support

Accommodation: Basic accommodations at UIDAI Technology Centre are available for payment to guests.

Eligibility For Internship

Nationality: The applicant has to be an Indian national.

Educational Background: The applicant has to be a bona fide student of a recognised university or institution in India or abroad.

Academic Requirements: Any one of the following should be applicable for the applicant:

B.Tech / B.E Students:

  • The applicant has to be in the 3rd year or 4th year (final or pre-final year) of any discipline.

  • The applicant should have at least 60% marks (GPA 6.0 or above) in all previous semester exams.

Postgraduate (PG) & PhD Students:

  • The applicant has to have completed or appeared for the 1st year term-end exams of their PG program or a PhD.

  • The applicant should have scores of at least 60% marks or an equivalent in their undergraduate degree.

Recent Graduates & PG Students waiting for Admission or Jobs:

  • The applicant should have at least 60% marks in all semesters of their graduation or PG.

  • The time gap between the date of the final exam result and the date of commencement of the internship should not exceed 6 months.

Eligibility For Fellowship

To apply for a UIDAI fellowship, the candidate has to fulfil the following eligibility criteria:

Educational Qualification: The candidates should be enrolled in a PhD program at a recognized institution in India.

Duration: The fellowship is offered for a duration of six to nine months. It can be extended for one year.

Important: The project report submitted at the end of the internship should be identical to the final submission report made to the host institution.

  1. Original No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Chair of the Department.

  • The NOC should indicate that the student will not be registered for any courses which require classroom attendance during the internship.

For Fellowship (Additional Documents)

  • Recommendation Letter from the applicant’s PhD supervisor.
