The HBOCWWB Scheme: Free Travel For Construction Workers

The HBOCWWB Scheme was introduced by the Haryana Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (HBOCWWB) under the Labour Department of the Haryana Government. This state government scheme allows workers to travel free of cost. Workers will get back the money they spent on travel as well as four other family members. The refund will be given based on the regular bus fare set by Haryana Roadways or the Second Class railway fare. Let’s take a look at how workers can avail HBOCWWB Scheme.

  • The travel support covers trips lasting up to 10 days.

What Is The Eligibility Criteria To Apply For The HBOCWWB Scheme?

The following eligibility criteria have to be met by the construction workers to apply for this government scheme.

  • Applicants need to be registered with the Haryana Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board.

  • Workers must have at least two years of regular membership.

  • Must have an active membership with the Board.

  • Registered workers and four family members can use the benefits of the govt scheme.

  • The benefits can be used once every four years for visiting religious or historical places.

  • The visit should not last more than 10 days.

  • Log into your account using your username and password after the final submission.

  • To avail of benefits, pay the registration fee and add a minimum of 90 days of work experience from the year before.

  • Fill in all the details about work and the 90 days' experience.

  • The govt scheme and other benefits can be availed once the 90 days of work experience are approved by the Officer.

What Are The Required Documents For This Govt Scheme?

The following list of documents has to be submitted during the registration process.

  • Identity proof.

  • Passport-size photograph.

  • Attested work experience document.

  • Proof of Residence.

  • Ration Card.

  • Bank account details.

  • Caste Certificate (If applicable).

  • Proof of age.

  • Parivar Pehchan Patra (Family ID).

  • Disability certificate (If applicable).

The following documents have to be submitted during the application process.

  • Identity proof/ID Card of Worker,

  • Original Travelling Ticket.

  • Undertaking by applicant.

  • Any other documents required.

What Is The Registration Process Of The HBOCWWB Scheme?

Construction workers who meet the eligibility criteria can follow these steps to register for the govt scheme.

  1. Visit the official website of the Labour Department Haryana.

  2. On the home page, click on the "Building & Ors Const. Workers Welfare Board" link.

  3. Read all the instructions and then tick the acknowledgement before clicking on the "Submit" button.

  4. Verify using Parivar Pehchan Patra Family ID by entering the Family ID.

  5. Fill out the registration form with the necessary details.

Registration Process on Antyodaya-SARAL Portal

To avail of the benefits of this Sarkari Yojana, the applicant needs to visit the Official Portal Antyodaya-SARAL Portal.

  • If the applicant is not registered on the Antyodaya-SARAL portal, they need to register.

  • Click on "New User/Register Here" and fill in the required details like Name, Email ID, Mobile Number, and Password. Click on "Submit."

  • The login ID will be sent to the applicant's mobile number.

How To Apply For The HBOCWWB Scheme?

After the applicants register and create their Antyodaya-SARAL account, the following steps can be followed to apply for the HBOCWWB scheme to avail of the benefits.

  1. Visit the official Antyodaya-SARAL Portal.

  2. Log in with the required details.

  3. Click on "Scheme/Services list" in the opened window to view the list of government schemes.

  4. Select the scheme and click on "Apply for Service/Scheme."

  5. Fill in the required details in the online application form and submit it.
