The applicant's parents' or guardians' combined annual income (from all sources) cannot be more than ₹2 lakh.

The applicant cannot receive any other government scholarship.
The applicant must not be the family's third sibling to get this grant.

Scholarship Amount And Coverage

The scholarship aims to allocate funds according to the type of disability and the resources it would take to assist such a person. The amounts allocated are:

Monthly Allowance: Day Scholar: ₹500, Hostellers: ₹800
Book Grant: ₹1000 p.a
Disability Allowance: ( per year basis)

Hearing Impaired: ₹2000
Visually Impaired: ₹4000
Physically Disabled: ₹2000
Intellectual Disability: ₹4000
All other types: ₹2000
