The government scheme aims to provide scholarships to students studying in class 9th to 12th for enabling them to bear the expenses required for their studies. SC/ST/OBC students of classes IX to XII of all government/aided/recognised public schools affiliated to the Directorate of Education/Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan/National Open School/Schools affiliated to the NDMC/Delhi Cantonment Board, East Delhi Municipal Corporation, North Delhi Municipal Corporation and South Delhi Municipal Corporation.

From 9th to 10th grade, the amount of assistance given will be Rs. 5,000 per annum.
From 11th to 12th grade, the amount of assistance given will be Rs. 10,000/- per annum

To qualify for the Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Pratibha Yojna, students must meet certain academic, financial, and residency requirements. The key eligibility criteria are as follows:
The applicant should be a resident of GNCT of Delhi.
A minimum of 50% marks are required for IX to X and 60% marks are required for XI to XII classes.
Annual family income: Rs 8 lacs per annum with EWS income limit, subject to exclusions notified by the Government of India. If a student scores 75% and above marks in the previous class, no income limit is applicable for the SC/ST/OBC category.
The applicant should upload a Caste Certificate SC/ST/OBC issued in the name of the student or his father's name issued by the SDM/Deputy Commissioner (Revenue), GNCTD. However, the domicile certificate of Delhi from the Revenue Deptt will be entertained for the SC beneficiary only if the caste certificate is issued by the outside state authority instead of the competent authority of the Govt. of NCT of Delhi.

Step 2: Click on New User at Citizen Corner.
Step 3: Click on Select the document—Aadhaar or Voter ID
Step 4: Enter your Aadhaar Card Number/ Voter ID Card Number.

The registration process for this government scheme is mentioned below. Go through the steps carefully to avoid any last-minute hassle.
Step 1- Click on Registered User Login.
Step 2- Enter the given login ID and password.
Step 3- Enter Captcha and Click on Login.
Step 4- Go to the main page (Main Page) will open and click on Apply Online.
Step 5- Dropbox apply for services will open – click on it.
Step 6- A list of Departments providing online services will open.
Step 7- Select the Department of Social Welfare.
Step 8- Click on the Scheme name and then Apply.
Step 9 - Verify the BASIC/PERSONAL DETAILS FORM and click on Proceed.
Step 10 - The form opens. Please fill up all the fields & upload all the documents as required by the selected govt scheme.
Step 11 -Then it will be redirected to upload a photograph.
Step 12 -Then click on submit.
Step 13- OTP will be received on the registered mobile number.
Step 14- Put OTP and Submit.
Step 15- Acknowledgement of successful submission will be displayed at last.

To apply successfully for this government scholarship scheme, a set of documents is required to be submitted. Make sure you have all the documents ready and up-to-date.
For SC/ST/OBC students, a Caste certificate is issued from the concerned office of the District Magistrate of Revenue Department, GNCT of Delhi.
Annual family income certificate issued by the Revenue Department, GNCT of Delhi.
Proof of studying in classes 9th to 12th in schools in Delhi.
Mark sheet of the previous year.

Qualifying marks for candidates from SC/ST/PH category is 32% in each paper, and for other (General/OBC & EWS {Economically Backward Class}) categories, it is 40% in each paper.
