EPF or Employee Provident Fund is a retirement benefit scheme for salaried company employees. Every month, a part of their salary is taken and put in their EPF. This can only be claimed by individuals after the age of 55 years. According to the Employee Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), it usually takes around 20 days to settle a claim or release the PF amount.
For individuals trying to claim their EPF, here are different ways to easily check their EPF claim status online and offline!

Salaried individuals can check if they meet the following eligibility criteria to claim EPF.
A person can claim 100% of their EPF after turning 55 and retiring.
If someone is 54, they can claim 90% of their EPF one year before retirement.
An individual can withdraw 75% of their EPF if unemployed and transfer the remaining 25% when they secure a new job.
A person can claim 100% of their EPF after being unemployed for over two months.
Let’s take a look at the different ways to track EPF claim status.
Log in to the UAN Member Portal using the UAN and password.
Click on the ‘Online Services’.
Select ‘Track Claim Status’.
The status of your online withdrawal or transfer claim will be displayed on the screen.

Visit the official EPFO website.
go to the ‘EPF Passbook & Claim Status’ page.
Enter the UAN, EPFO member password, and captcha code.
Click on the “Claims” tab to see the status of all claims, including approved or settled claims, pending or in-process claims, and rejected claims.
Open the Umang app and search for EPFO in the ‘All Services’ section.
Under “Employee Centric Services,” select the “Track Claim” option.
Enter the UAN and click on “Get OTP.”
Enter the OTP and click on the “Submit” button.
All claims made for the UAN will be displayed.
Individuals can check their EPF claim status by sending an SMS to 773899899 or by leaving a missed call on 01122901406.

There are two reasons why the PF claim status shows settled when it is not credited.
The claim has been processed and accepted by EPFO.
