If you’ve lost your PAN card or forgotten its number, follow these steps to help you locate it:
Visit the official Income Tax e-Filing website where different services regarding your PAN card are offered, including finding out your PAN number.
Click on the ‘Know Your PAN’ option; while this particular section may now be unavailable for access, it has been replaced by other similar services on the portal.
Enter surname, middle name, first name, and date of birth details that correspond with those registered with your PAN database.
Input the captcha code shown on the screen then click ‘Submit’. The website will display your full name, date of birth, and address along with your PAN Card number.

You can also use a mobile app to know your PAN card number. Just follow these few steps:
Install an official app known as Pan Card from the App Store and Play Store.
On launching this application tap on the Know Your Pan Details feature.
Fill up all required information including your Mobile No. and OTP to complete the verification process.
The app will give you your PAN card number and other information related to it.
If you need more details about your PAN such as your address, you can retrieve them through the Income Tax Department’s e-filing portal by following some simple steps:
Go to the Income Tax e-Filing website and click on ‘Register Yourself’ then fill in all necessary information for registration.
After completing registration, log into your account and go to Profile Settings.

Send an email to either tininfo@nsdl.co.in or utiitsl.gsd@utiitsl.com including all relevant information like full names, DOB, etc.
