The Employee Provident Fund (EPF) is a government scheme for employees that helps them set aside some money from their salary to help them financially during their retirement. All salaried employees working in a company will have a PF. Some money is deducted each month from their salary to put in their PF. This fund is then given back to them after they are 55 years old.
