These standards ensure quality, traceability, and better social, environmental, and financial practices in coffee production.

The govt scheme offers support for eco-certification by covering 50% of the certification cost, up to ₹50,000 per grower or grower group. For organic certification, this support is available for up to 3 years or the conversion period, whichever is shorter. For other certifications, the support is for one year during the MIDH period.

Additionally, coffee growers from the SC/ST community with up to 4 hectares of coffee land can receive an extra 10% of the certification cost, up to ₹55,000 during the (Mission for Integrated Development of Horticulture) MIDH period.
