Starting April 1, 2025, all Delhi petrol stations will implement a new policy which denies fuel services to vehicles that exceed 15 years of age. This policy change adopts existing regulations which already prohibit the filling of fuel into diesel vehicles that exceed their 10-year threshold and petrol vehicles beyond 15 years of use according to National Green Tribunal (NGT) and Supreme Court decisions.
