One of the major benefits of the RGSRY loan scheme is that it provides loan facilities of up to Rs. 3 lakh so that entrepreneurs under the scheme can start or grow their business units. Adequate capital is one of the most crucial things that a business needs, along with its mindful and correct use.
Under the government scheme, a subsidy of 15% of the total project cost is also given to the beneficiaries of the scheme. The maximum limit is Rs. 7,500 per entrepreneur, and it is adjusted after 2 years from the date it is credited in favour of the beneficiary.
The terms of repayment under the RGSRY loan scheme are also extremely flexible, so that entrepreneurs can easily repay the loan without feeling financially burdened by it. Beneficiaries usually get a 12-month moratorium period after which they can start repaying some amount of their loan in equal quarterly instalments over the next 5 years.

Interested individuals are required to fulfil all the eligibility criteria of the scheme to apply for it. The criteria are as follows for one’s better understanding:
Applicants must be between the ages of 18 years to 50 years.
Applicants must be planning to establish a unit within the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi.
The unit must be established in a permitted area under the Delhi Master Plan. In case of non-permitted areas, applicants would be required to obtain permission and approvals from relevant authorities, like the High Power Committee or MCL.
Certain types of individuals can apply for this state government scheme, such as
School or college dropouts above 18 years of age,
Individual entrepreneurs,
Trade professionals,
Artisans,
Individuals with a diploma or certificate from a government-recognised technical or professional institute,
Small-scale industrial units with investment within the limit set by the central government
Applicants shouldn't have a default loan history, as that would make them ineligible for this scheme.
Those individuals who have taken out such loans before and have not repaid the amount on time will be deemed ineligible for this scheme.

Step 2: Begin the Rajiv Gandhi Yojana registration process by registering yourself in the portal using your personal details like name, date of birth, Aadhaar number, email ID, and mobile number, and set up a password.
Step 3: After successful Rajiv Gandhi Yojana registration, log in using your Aadhaar number and the password that you created while registering.
Step 4: Fill in the application form accurately and upload all the required documents.
Step 5: After rechecking the filled information, submit the form and wait for the verification process to complete.
