Awardee will also be required to pay a penalty of losing the medal, which is around Rs 10,000, in favor of the Pay and Accounts Officer of the Ministry of Home Affairs. The penalty should also be paid via a Demand Draft (DD).

Step 3: After necessary verification checks, the authorities will issue the order authorising the making of the duplicate President's police medal.
